Great interview, Ryno is a legend !
Ryan 💯👊
That DAD segment is 100% true, great interview, Ryan is aging well and has his shit together.
Trying to find her post. I can’t find anything yet. Love the show guys! I believe in you Ryno, never change 💪🏽
I would argue motocross is not a motorsport and shouldn't be compared as such. it's a flow sport like surfing, skating, snowboarding, with an obvious extension into cycling. this actually is a sexier look for motocross. motorsports are a thing. but they're not even close to being as cool as this. not even close.
Racing on 80s in the 80s, 4 strokes were a novelty class kind of like pit bike racing. The kids that didn't win anything in the real class could have their dad build one and be on the gas the whole time because they were powerless.
Go get some mental health help. You need it Ryno.
Where can we get some merch at?
As a physiologist and massage therapist, I agree that what you are saying is extremely important! One thing to look at is Pilates (the exercises of Joseph Pilates) that work the core in a very powerful way. Your back can't be rounded and then flex sideways, it just doesn't work that way. It can't really rotate much either when bent. And you can't look over your shoulder/ rotate when that C curve goes into your neck. (that might be a tool for people to use to self-check: can they look back, can they hip-hike/ stand on one foot in their posture? Thanks again for your instruction!
Great stuff thanks for sharing
Thank you Rhino as always! 😊
Show is awesome "good times" 💯👊🏼💯
He’s good enough, he can multitask! Congratulations Jett
Fantastic interview! Lots of wisdom-better listen up.
Really guys? Think outside the box 🤦🏻♂ Dangerous? Do you know how incredibly simply it is for an E bike to have sound? The sport is so resistant to change and that’s why it lags behind the other sports so much.
2 strokes rock. Real men ride 2 strokes 😂
the ability to make a mistake or blow the turn and just grab some throttle and make the obstacle has changed the racing for years
Two stroke engines could have evolved with fuel Injection and the cpu etc although the current four strokes with outrageous cost wise are very powerful either way the top riders are also very talented Roger de Coster stated that a fall from a four stroke at the speed they are carrying is also very damaging to the rider still four strokes were the Pilar of racing at the beginning of motocross and desert racing I believe that In super cross event or motocross needs to let two strokes compete against four strokes like the off road events 😊
Listening to Jeff Ward describe driving Indy cars was eye opening. The margin of error at 200 plus miles per hour is tiny.
4 stroke suck! Always have, always will. MX used to be 45 minute motos plus a lap. Todays she hes can barely make a 35 min moto.
2 strokes forever!
I have a modern 300 cc 2-stroke enduro bike. One does not just simply understand how good of a tool it is for the job its made for. Ryan is right. There is nothing like it.
Rode while you were on track a couple times. You were wearing moose gear and riding a Suzuki. 🤩
Pros, Joe's, and local track hoes....you dropped the ball with the title on this one.
This guy is a total nut.
Sad ! 😢 average Joe's no more !😮
So true. We’d be running in Georgia and you’d hear the pits making noise and Ezra Lusk would show up and rip. Was so awesome
I live in southwest Mississippi. K-Dub still comes out every once in a while. As many times as I've seen him, it's still amazing.
ryan what kind of advice do you have for me some of the other racers are all gathering in a trailer and doing bad stuff i think they are using performance enhancing drugs and rubbing stuff inside their nostrils. they are all in c class and im just worried someone might get hurt.
Stay far away from them would be advise. Let a track official know that you believe they be under the influence of something and let them sort it out.
😂 c class smelling salts, skip the skills and go straight to peds
my fav memory of crashing in practice was the motocross community coming to my pit n helping me straighten my bike out so i could get into the races! I didnt know anyone there but the support was unmatched. love this sport !
Wanna’ make racing exciting again? Get rid of electronic “rider aids” in motocross and motogp. Make people ride motorcycles instead of two-wheeled computers.
I’ve cartwheeled my bikes on downhills in the woods plenty times, picked it up and kicked it a few times. Good stuff 👍🏻
Tracks gotta bills to pay . Gotta make $$$$
Maybe Fishman ?
Luckily karting still has a large two stroke contingent with brands like Vortex, IAME and TM. The biggest mistake I’ve seen made with four stroke adoption is trying to match the performance of a two stroke. Once you do that, the potential cost saving of a four stroke disappear. Four valve heads, OHC, high compression etc etc. The popular four strokes in karting are all low output OHV engines. 200cc ish and 10/12 HP. Trying to match the power of the 50HP 125 2 strokes always ended up with a bulky, expensive package with overly strong engine braking. Plus if you money shift one of those you’re gonna have a bad day. 4t was all down to manufacturing support. 2 strokes were not viable for OEMs. It didn’t make sense for them to invest in 2t development to meet emissions standards when they already had something they could sell right away. Not saying I like it. But it makes sense. Thankfully KTM and Yamaha are still smokin’ along with the smalller karting engine manufacturers.
I wish Ryan was a little league umpire. He calls strikes strikes. He does this while at the same time, thinking out of the box. Thinking out of the box is exactly why he was able to pass so many riders.
it's not fun to learn and be a beginner anywhere, golf course, ski hill, its all an uphill battle, Even pros were starting out as beginners once.
I disagree, if you do things from a place of passion and curiosity rather than ego then all the fun is in learning. When you’re a beginner you learn the fastest
golf compares to mx. from beginners to clubhouse pros on the same course. sometimes leads to hostility and fear.
😂
I’d much rather crash (body-wise) on a road racing motorcycle than on an mx. Road racing you just slide, mx you just slam & crunch. Trust me I know first hand from both disciplines.
Not mentioned but I think a major factor: unlike almost every other form of racing, a motocross track is constantly changing during the race.. between heats, after being watered etc.. Most road tracks don't change for years, even decades and teams can dial in their cars for that track, save setting and be good.. not an option when it starts raining halfway thru the main ;)
hole shotting the comments, let's go Jett
Big Up to Hughes
Ok boomer
Same thing happened in karting.
it has really turned into a gaudy sport
There should be a mini series where every pro SMX rider races on a stoke Stark Varg, equal stock parts and shorter race times!
0:15 Don't jumper bigger? Yah we do! Death Race 3000! :D
E-bikes suck, anyone who promotes them should be banished from the motorcycle community. I am hitting the "do not recommend channel" button.
May I suggest a re-filming of this... As I listen to it, in the beginning, when my mind is fully open I hear is start with doing things wrong. Can you start (and end) with GOOD/ correct stuff? I don't want to imprint too much of what is wrong, instead, I want to pack as much as I should be doing, in my body, into my brain and muscles. Thanks!
